You received a message
Someone made sure their words would reach you.
Words Abide is a private place where someone can prepare messages, recordings, and keepsakes for people they love. When a message is released, we show it on a quiet page so you can read, listen, save, and return when you are ready.
Why you are seeing this
The sender prepared this deliberately and chose you as the person who should receive it. You do not need to reply, sign up, or decide what to do right away.
Keeping the message
Current released-message links do not expire. A link can be revoked if the sender stops the release or if abuse review requires it, but it is not limited by a short viewing window.
If the message page includes recordings or attachments, use the Download links there to save copies on your device. You can also print the page or save it as a PDF from your browser.
If something does not work
Email [email protected] with the subject "Received message help." Recipient and bereaved support is handled by a person, with a four business-hour target.
Grief support
In the United States, call or text 988 for immediate crisis support; for grief groups, local hospice bereavement programs and hospital social workers are common starting points.
